Not in this case.
Buyer gets refund. Keeps my product. And I get a F ing Negative.
If your an eBay seller tell me WTF?
And even after sending eBay thru there twitter customer service. I get a complete run around.
First says they can't find my case with my ID.
When any person can go online with a user ID to see someone's feedback. Isn't that eBay is based on?
Now they say there looking into it.
That was 3 days ago.
And contacting them thru there website is just as lame.
Guess next step would be to try and call them?
We shall see.
Below is a email I wrote to eBay regarding a case that was put against me.
This is very unnerving case.
I made contact. Made attempt to resolve. Made offers within the guidelines of my return policies. Which were totally disregarding by eBay.
The buyer consisintly questioned my integrity as an eBay seller. And made it clear he would use eBay to enforce his vendetta against me as a seller.
I packaged the item as I see it. Having packed many hats in this fashion I didn't see an issue.
The packaged stated do not crush fold or bend.
And I made point that it was the handlers result of any damage. Unless an elephant stepped on this hat I can see damages but not thru normal handling.
So the buyer is insulting me and saying that any damage was due to more poor packaging which wasn't the case.
So the buyer makes demands and puts case on me and within hours case was closed in buyers favor.
As a result I receive a negative feedback even after eBay issues refund and have not received item back.
For this reason im questioning whether I'll continue to conduct business on eBay or PayPal.
As a seller I was no way protected.
I would like the negative reversed and my product returned to me.
Which is complete violation of common laws in any state.
This is theft in my view that eBay help facilitate.
